Claughtons have always supported their local community with charitable fundraising, so when we were approached by the Dove House Hospice to help with their new appeal we decided to dedicate all our efforts into this worthy cause.
All of our employees are focused on helping the charity meet its fundraising targets and we aim to raise in excess of £50,000 over the next 2 years.
Our main area of fund raising will be through our established programme of empty ink and toner cartridge recycling.

Dove House Hospice is the only adult hospice in this region serving a population of 325,000. The hospice desperately needs to extend its facilities to meet current demands and has launched the Love you 2 appeal to raise £2.5 million towards the re-development of the hospice site at Chamberlain Road.
The expansion and the re-development of the hospice will enable people to benefit from specialist palliative care, respite care, enhanced services and treatments and provide more facilities for relatives and carers.
Additional facilities will include:
- 12 respite beds including 2 family suites
- Specialist palliative care
- Enhanced therapy assessment and treatment areas
- New rehabilitation and gym facilities
- New and improved day therapy unit
- Efficient and updated clinical and administration accommodation
- New suites for relatives and carers
- Hospice café for the whole community
